Is it really free?
Yes. The single-user apps are free forever. No trial period, no credit card, no sales call. Open one in your browser and start.
What's the catch?
There's no catch, but there is a sponsor. Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies sponsor the apps. Their logo appears on the splash screen and as a small badge on your dashboard. That's it. No pop-ups, no data sharing, no drug recommendations, no influence on your prescriptions.
Where is my patient data kept?
On Pi Health's servers, encrypted and secure. That is what lets you and your staff see the same records from different devices at the same time: the doctor's computer and the front desk, without anything to sync. Your sponsor never sees any of it: sponsorship is chosen by city, and nothing is shared with sponsors or advertisers.
Do I need an account or internet?
Yes to both, and both are light. Signing in to the free apps takes an email address and a one-time code, so there is no password to remember. The apps run in your browser, so they need an internet connection. If the connection drops while you are typing, what you have entered is held until it saves.
Will it work on my phone or old computer?
Almost certainly. There is nothing to install and nothing to download. The apps run in any modern browser, on Android, iPhone, Windows, macOS or Linux. You can add them to your home screen so they open like any other app.
What about the pharma logo? Will it push drugs?
No. The sponsorship is logo branding only. There is no drug promotion, no incentives, and nothing that influences what you prescribe. For pharmaceutical sponsors it is fully UCPMP compliant. A quiet logo, like the one on a clinic wall clock, on something you actually use.
What do clinics and hospitals pay?
The single-user apps stay free. Chorda (for clinics) and Maxima (for hospitals) are multi-user and paid, with clear line-item pricing. Fixed licence, hosting at cost, AI at cost plus a small fee. Every charge is visible, or you can self-host.
Can I export my data?
Not yet, but your data is yours and there is no lock-in. A built-in export is coming. Until then, ask us and we will get your records out for you.
Is there support?
Yes. Reach out any time and we'll help. For clinics and hospitals on a paid plan, support is part of the relationship.
